    The aim of the program

    The aim of the B Sc course in Public Health is to train specialists who are capable of identifying and evaluating
    public health problems,planning and implementing evidence-based interventions to solve them.

    Introduction to Public Health, Chemistry, Ecology, Psychology, Communication, First Aid, Bioethics, Basics of
    Research Methodology,Sociology, Basic Anatomy, Medical Latin, Cell Biology, Genetics and Molecular Biology,
    Environmental Health, Pathology, Health (& Library) Informatics, Elective subjects

    3d an 4th semester


    Health Care Law, Biochemistry, Physiology, Health Psychology, Clinical Propedeutics, Basic Microbiology,
    Immunology, Public Health Medicine I-II, Biostatistics and Basic Epidemiology, Epidemiology in Public Health I.,
    Elective subjects

    5th and 6th semester


    Epidemiology in Public Health II,, Pharmacology, Basics in Health Promotion and Health Policy, Health Promotion ,

    Postgraduate opportunities

    The University of Debrecen offers a lot of internationally competitive master courses among them the Master in
    Public Health course in English.
    By the year of 2010 a new M Sc course in Rehabilitation will be launched also for English-speaking students.
