The aim of the program
The aim of the B Sc course in Public Health is to train specialists who are capable of identifying and evaluating
public health problems,planning and implementing evidence-based interventions to solve them.

The University of Debrecen offers a lot of internationally competitive master courses among them the Master in
Public Health course in English.
By the year of 2010 a new M Sc course in Rehabilitation will be launched also for English-speaking students.

Public Health is a rapidly expanding field worldwide. The degree will open up a range of career opportunities
throughout the world. It therefore provides a base from which to proceed to a career in a wide range of health-
related occupations or research.
